In 2016, Two casual scuba drivers stumbled upon a 1,600-year-old Roman shipwreck off the coast of Israel. Local archaeologists were alerted, and they discovered the largest cache of underwater artifacts including bronze statues, bronze busts, oil lamps and thousands of coins bearing the faces of Roman emperors.
